Old Age -/- Decay

13:7
Old Age

Pursue virtue without delay
Age prevents activity

Stuff rejoiced in youth
Wiser minds bypass

Around steadily stooping spouses
Fades marital lust

Pensioners busily maintaining joyfulness
Prevent tapering pathetically

***

Judge not elderly bigotry
Society sculpts souls

Upon decrepit, friendless rocks
Founder loveless lives

Infirmity’s nae feeble imbecility
Respect venerable wisdom

13:8
Decay

Because mountain cloud passes
Enjoy bodily fitness

Time’s ticking, tocking clock
Earth’s first monarch

As fallen fruits decay
Beauty fades away

Beyond youth’s ebullient rejuvenations,
Age beckons atrophical

***

Life’s weavers conjure tapestries
Time’s hyena shreds

However sensual irradiant eyes
Empty sockets behind

Whereas bodies disintegrate eventually
Virtue never disappears
